Design Story
The City View is the largest project in the portfolio and the one that most directly engages with the contemporary. Working with a newly constructed apartment, the challenge was to bring warmth and character to a space with clean modern bones — to make it feel considered without making it feel heavy.
Each bedroom was treated as an independent design problem. The materials, lighting, and object choices in each room were resolved separately before being brought into conversation with each other and with the shared living spaces. The result is a home where two bedrooms feel distinct but related — siblings rather than copies.
The view became an active design element. Furniture was oriented to work with the skyline rather than ignore it, and window treatments were chosen to frame rather than filter the light that the city produces at dusk.
