Design Story
Meeras began as an experiment in restraint — how much of a space can be made by hand before it starts to feel like a world of its own. Every ceramic piece was thrown in our studio. Every wall was painted by hand. Every corner was composed the way a still life is composed: nothing accidental, everything considered.
The bedroom is anchored by a canopy draped in unbleached linen, the kind of fabric that only improves with time. Lantern lighting replaces overhead glare — the space shifts its character entirely as the day moves through it. Two balcony spaces were designed not as afterthoughts but as rooms without walls: places to sit, pause, and notice.
Meeras is the project that set the tone for everything that followed — proof that a space does not need to be large to be rich.
